Journals

MEDIREX GROUP ACADEMY has been engaging in publishing activities for a long time now. MGA’s original periodicals include a scientific journal, Newslab (published since 2010), and a journal focusing on laboratory medicine, labMED (published since 2014).

Newslab

As a specialised peer-reviewed journal, Newslab brings the latest findings in the sphere of biomedical research and science, aiming to create close links between biomedical research and health care practice in Slovakia. Read by doctors of all specialties, the magazine is delivered free of charge along with laboratory test results to all physicians who cooperate with laboratories. The publication is also valuable to laboratory professionals and university researchers working in the field of laboratory medicine.

Newslab readers have access to specialist papers written by academic experts as well as laboratory professionals. Distributed to all major libraries, the journal has been assigned a citation abbreviation, which means that authors can list their papers published in Newslab as part of their publishing activity. Moreover, the journal is indexed in the Bibliographia Medica Slovaca (BMS) database and all citations are recorded in the CiBaMed database.
